RCEP comes into force for Indonesia

The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP) will come into effect on January 1, 2022 and is the largest free trade agreement in the world.

In September 2022, Indonesia will complete the relevant approval procedures. On January 2, 2023, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP) officially entered into force for Indonesia.

Indonesian Trade Minister Zulkifli Hassan previously said in a statement that import and export companies can apply for preferential tax rates through certificates of origin or declarations of origin.
